Indian Student Club (ISC) organized Kickstart Party on 16 September in University Student Union Room number 312. Almost 60 students became a part of it. It was organized to provide an opportunity to the students to feel like home in the new environment, interact with their fellow folks, boost their enthusiasm and update them with the new information as an F-1 student over here.

The program commenced with all the students meeting each other and introducing themselves. followed by welcome song and performances by students on western dance, songs and fusion dance.

Interesting games like balloon pyramid, balloon dance and musical chairs were played. Indian Bollywood songs and music enticed the students to dance to the tunes. Many interesting and entertaining segments made the event a huge success. To make the event food fueled  and savory Indian food like Daal (lentils), Rice, Indian dishes were provided during the event.

President of The ISC, Jangsher Singh Tumber majoring in BBA Finance said “ It was organized to bring together the North and South India on a common platform. The event also supported students from Bangladesh and will keep bracing them till they have their own country club. The students were given some basic tips of rules and regulations, lifestyle and housing.”

Kulvir Kaur Janjua majoring in Pre-Medical, “ Celebrations brought students together as a community. There was fun, frolic and most importantly an environment of unity and harmony.”

The burst of talent exhibited by Freshers was absolutely mesmerizing.
